Inspired by modern Westerns like "Yellowstone" and "The English", this painting created with water mixable oils, is meant to evoke a bygone era and a sense of nostalgia. The mountain range was done with lots of palette knife strokes to create thick texture and the impression of jutting out against the flatness of the sky.
The artwork is signed and dated on the back with other details included like the title. It is varnished and will arrive ready to hang. The canvas board is unframed in order to allow the buyer to select their own frame. However, if you would like the painting to be framed please contact me to arrange for different framing options at different price quotes.
